AirHelp, the travel tech company supporting passengers with flight disruptions, announces that it has been certified in Newsweek’s 2024 Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces. This is the second annual Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces list in collaboration with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a leadership development and benchmark research company.

Most Loved Workplace provides the most comprehensive look at workplace sentiment in today’s organisations. The results were determined after surveying more than 2 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 30 to more than 10,000. The list recognises companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the centre of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them. International companies also awarded the certificate include Paramount, Spotify Technology S.A., BlackBerry, Denny’s and Unisys.

Research shows that organisations awarded The Most Loved Workplace certificate provide three to four times higher customer service, have higher employee productivity and a lower employee turnover rate.

This certification recognises AirHelp’s focus on providing transparency and employee involvement to shape the company’s future by co-creating its strategy. The company has established clear criteria and goals for each career path across all positions. Employees can also benefit from personal development funding as part of a flexible benefit package that can be used to excel their skills outside of their current role and access additional funding to upskill in all areas.

Understanding the importance of future leaders, AirHelp runs a dedicated Leadership Skills Program for all new and future managers, providing leaders with additional skills and training to support and develop their teams.

Tomasz Pawliszyn, CEO of AirHelp said: “Our employees’ satisfaction is regularly measured through surveys and tools that assess their well-being each week. We ask open-ended questions that allow them to have their say in every decision we make. Publicly praising ‘AirHelpers’, as we call ourselves, for their ideas and hard work is also part of our culture. Not a day goes by without someone sending a message on the company-wide channel to highlight the hard work of another team member.”

“Our employees come from many corners of the world and work from either several offices across Europe and Brazil, or remotely. To cultivate relationships, we organise monthly team days – during which AirHelpers have the opportunity to choose interesting additional activities to meet. Additionally, each department plans quarterly trips outside our headquarters to discuss new ideas in person. Twice a year, we gather all employees in one place to share new goals and celebrate their achievements.”

Furthermore, AirHelp prioritises mental health, leading to the company introducing well-being managers to whom every employee can turn for support and advice. Additionally, everyone has access to a personalised health and wellbeing package.

AirHelp’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Katherine Rummery concludes: “As workplaces continue to transform, it has never been more important for us to collaborate, embrace a positive outlook and ensure our team is aligned. AirHelp is honoured to be celebrated in the 2024 Global Most Loved Workplaces list. We look forward to building a great workplace supporting our employees’ future development.”
