Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas, an award-winning property nestled within one of Malaysia’s most exclusive integrated luxury resorts, welcomed Jaswinder Kaur as new Director of Rooms. In her role, the hospitality expert is responsible for overseeing various verticals including front office, housekeeping and guest relations, as well as optimising the resort’s operational procedures and delivering key strategic initiatives.
Jaswinder is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience within the hospitality industry, honing her skills and developing a strong foundation in rooms division management in various leadership roles with Nexus Resort Karambunai, Rebak Island Resort and Mandarin Oriental, all in her native Malaysia.
Prior to joining Anantara Desaru Coast in December 2023, Jaswinder was at The Danna Langkawi, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, where she most recently worked as Director of Rooms, having started as a Guest Experience Manager in 2012.
