The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) will host the first-of-its-kind APAC Travel Marketplace in Al Ain on 15 and 16 October, connecting over 200 travel agents from the APAC region with 60 Abu Dhabi-based stakeholders. The invite-only B2B event will include both pre-FAM and post-FAM activities, and is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships with the Asia-Pacific (APAC) travel trade and showcase the emirate’s unparalleled offering.
The event will be attended by DCT Abu Dhabi leadership and feature a range of discussions and networking opportunities, designed to inspire and educate APAC travel partners on Abu Dhabi’s extensive offering. From the vibrant capital city to historic Al Ain andthe stunning landscapes of Al Dhafra, the array of diverse experiences across the emirate makes Abu Dhabi is a destination with endless travel possibilities.
Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, will deliver key remarks during the event, highlighting the emirate’s growing momentum as a travel destination for APAC markets. The agenda will also include plenary sessions and one-on-one meetings, providing a platform to discuss opportunities for collaboration and growth in tourism between Abu Dhabi and the APAC region.
This APAC Travel Marketplace is part of Abu Dhabi’s broader Tourism Strategy 2030, which aims to drive the emirate’s development into a leading global tourism destination through dynamic partnerships, unique destination offerings, and an emphasis on sustainability and innovation. Through this event, DCT Abu Dhabi seeks to expand its network across the APAC region, fostering long-term relationships and showcasing Abu Dhabi as a destination where travel industry professionals can find growth and success.
