Based in Collingwood, Melbourne, The Ascott Limited, Australia (Ascott Australia) was named the 12th Best Place to Work in the over 100 employees category at the 2023 Best Places to Work Conference and Awards event held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Sydney on August 8.
Ascott Australia currently employs 114 full and part time employees. The 2023 Best Places to Work study was conducted between September 2022 and June 2023. The results represent 43,047 Australian based employees from 101 organisations. Each organisation participating in the study earns a score based on employee responses to an employee engagement survey and a comprehensive evaluation of the organisation’s policies, practices, and procedures.
In the last 12 months, 90% of Ascott Australia employees took advantage of flexible scheduling, including adjustable start and end times, compressed work weeks, part-time arrangements, and remote work opportunities. Paid parental leave, paid volunteering leave and paid domestic violence leave policies were also put in place. Key employee benefits include a $1,000 learning and development budget for every employee at Ascott Australia and discounted rates at all Ascott properties worldwide.
Ascott Australia ranked 18th in the under 100 employees category on the 2022 list, reinforcing the leading lodging businesses’ reputation as an employer of choice in the competitive hospitality industry.
