Following a four-year hiatus, Seatrade Cruise Asia Pacific returns this fall, bringing the cruise community together in Hong Kong, 24-26 October 2023 at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, China. Inspired by the overarching theme – Rebuilding Asia Cruising Together – the revived event, supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, will include a two-track conference programme featuring leading stakeholders in the industry and a table-top zone showcasing ports, destinations, and service providers from across the region.

“Seatrade has been engaged with cruising in the Asia Pacific region for 40 years, bringing cruise communities together to support the development of this emerging market,” says Chiara Giorgi, Global Brand and Event Director for Seatrade Cruise. “Cruise operations are gradually restarting in this region with some markets returning strongly to near pre-pandemic levels. With several cruise lines already operating in the region and new players on the horizon, Seatrade is excited to be back in Hong Kong to continue supporting the recovery of the Asian cruise market.”

Seatrade Cruise Asia Pacific welcomes the world’s cruise industry professionals to learn about the latest cruise developments, hear from renowned industry experts, and meet with like-minded individuals. The event’s conference agenda, centered on the theme Rebuilding Asia Cruising Together, will feature panels, workshops and presentations addressing the most relevant regional trends, threats and opportunities with each session led by a panel of cruising’s most influential leaders and experts. The conference programme will be headlined by the State of the Asian Cruise Industry session, diving into major industry updates, current trends and outlook for the region’s future.

The dedicated Supplier Showcase Zone will feature exhibitors including ports, destinations and service providers from across the region showcasing their latest facilities and products. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with colleagues through a variety of networking receptions hosted throughout the three days.

Hong Kong’s iconic cityscape and Victoria Harbour is a leading cruise hub for multiple brands visiting Asia, and the ideal location to host Seatrade Cruise Asia Pacific’s long-awaited return.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board is honoured to facilitate and fully support the hosting of the Seatrade Cruise Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. Mr Kenneth Wong, General Manager, MICE & Cruise of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, said, “The choice of Hong Kong as the venue for Asia’s first and largest post-pandemic trade event for the cruise industry not only highlights Hong Kong’s significant role as Asia’s cruise hub, but also further strengthens Hong Kong’s position in the global cruise industry. The event will bring together the best and brightest elites of the cruise industry from around the world, who can experience first-hand Hong Kong’s new travelling experience. This will help showcase to the world Hong Kong’s normalcy.”
