Holland America Line is set to enhance its Alaska cruise experience with the debut of “Glacier Day,” an immersive event designed to deepen guests’ connection with the majestic glaciers of Alaska. The 2024 season, launching on April 27 from Vancouver and May 4 from Seattle, will feature this new addition as part of the “We Love Alaska” onboard experience.

Alaska Season Itineraries and Cruisetours
Throughout the season ending in September 2024, travellers can embark on cruises and Cruisetours from Vancouver and Seattle aboard ships such as Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam, and Zaandam. Options range from seven-day itineraries to a new 28-day Arctic Circle Solstice Legendary Voyage featuring 12 Alaska ports. Cruisetours extend up to 18 days, including visits to Denali National Park and, uniquely offered by Holland America Line, journeys into Canada’s Yukon.
Celebrating ‘Glacier Day’
“Glacier Day” will spotlight Alaska’s iconic glaciers with activities like sighting times, scenic commentary, presentations, and informational viewing stations. Guests will enjoy Dutch Pea Soup on deck, Glacier Ice cocktails, and talks by Glacier Bay National Park Rangers and Huna cultural interpreters. Every Alaska cruise will visit renowned glacier destinations, and shore excursions will provide opportunities to explore additional glaciers.
