The event at the Compensa Concert Hall will be a celebration of sleep and wellness innovations, attended by some of the world’s most renowned sleep experts.
Sure to attract curious insomniacs, Sleep Fest is the place to go and to find out everything you need to know about improving your sleeping patterns. The festival has a jam-packed agenda offering insights into human sleep behaviours.
The event will feature world-class speakers, including prominent neuroscientist and University of California, Berkeley professor Matthew Walker, author of the New York Times bestseller Why We Sleep.
Visitors will be able to hear from Michael Grandner, Ph.D., a doctor of sleep medicine in the U.S., who will share research material on the impact of sleep deprivation on mental and physical health.
Dutch neuroscientist Leo Van Woerden will also share tips for relaxation and will conduct an interactive non-sleep deep rest session. The programme will be enriched by well-known specialists such as biohacker Siim Land, longevity futurist Dr. Ines O’Donovan and Virgile Novarina, who has been analysing the theme of sleep for thirty years.
In a world full of anxiety, Sleep Fest will invite participants to experience soothing communion and together look for ways we can help ourselves – to connect for the common purpose of a good night’s sleep. The programme includes various discussions, presentations by health experts, presentations of technological solutions and immersive activities on the topic of quality sleep.
Sleep, as we know, is vital to our health and functionality. An extension of the growing wellness trend, ‘sleep tourism’ is very much in vogue right now. Showcasing the importance of sleep and the impact it has on our daily lives, the line-up also includes a live sleep performance from a ‘sleep artist’ – yes, folks, that’s a thing.
Go on…get your pjs on and snuggle in.
